Launching an access pass album

Sell passes that unlock streaming and pay you directly — unlimited or as a limited edition, with a royalty every time a pass is resold. A guide to access-pass releases on Amari.

Amari Market·Published Jul 2, 2026·Updated Jul 10, 2026

What is an access pass album?

An access-pass album lets fans buy a pass NFT that unlocks full streaming of every track. Each buyer pays you directly. You can sell unlimited passes to maximize reach, or cap supply as a limited edition to create scarcity — either way you keep the relationship with your listeners.

How it works

When you publish, Amari creates a dedicated on-chain collection with a pass template. Every primary purchase pays you directly and mints one pass to the buyer. Owning any pass from that template is what unlocks playback — so access always follows whoever currently holds the pass.

Set it up

Add your title, cover, tracks, and a pass price. Choose your supply (unlimited or a fixed cap) and a resale royalty. Confirm the on-chain setup with a single WebAuth signature to create the collection and pass template. Once complete, fans can buy immediately.

Resale and royalties

Passes are real, transferable NFTs — holders can resell them on the Amari secondary market, and you earn your chosen royalty (0–15%) on every resale, automatically on-chain. For limited editions, once the primary supply sells out the secondary market becomes the only way in, which is what gives passes lasting value.

Pricing and changes

Primary pricing is flexible — you can update the price at any time and it takes effect instantly, since buyers pay you directly. Buys, price changes, and secondary sales all show up in the activity feed.
